Macworld 2008 may have been a bit of let down after last year's iPhone launch, but if you scratched below the surface there were many wonderful new product launches. JBL introduced their wireless AKG headphone series with two private VIP concerts at the Moscone Center. Shaw Blades helped them with their historic launch. Between them, Tommy Shaw and Jack Blades have sold over 33 million CDs. Jack was part of Night Ranger and Tommy continues to electrify audiences in Styx, and together (w/Ted Nugent) a decade earlier they rocked the world with Damn Yankees. Today they continue to create wonderfully engaging music as a duo. Check out excerpts from their live concert in the JBL room at Macworld 2008.
